The Fire Round: Bringing the Heart of Nashville to Utah

Some of the best moments in life are unplanned. One night around a campfire in LaCygne, Kansas, we found ourselves in the presence of some of Nashville’s most talented songwriters. As they strummed their guitars and sang their original songs, we were completely captivated—not just by the music, but by the stories behind the lyrics. The raw emotion, the connection, the magic of that night stayed with us long after we returned home to Utah.

We often reminisced about that evening, wishing we could recreate that feeling—the intimacy of hearing a song in its purest form, straight from the songwriter’s heart. Years later, while visiting our friend Terri Jo Box in Nashville, we attended a private songwriter event that reignited those same powerful emotions. Right then, we knew we had to bring this experience to Utah.

That’s how The Fire Round was born.
